Wow...9 months old, where does the time go? I have loved every minute of having him as part of our family and it's crazy to think he's already 9 months, but at the same time it's hard to remember life without him. He is just so special to us and we're thankful that we are blessed to have Ethan as part of our little family.
We went on the 4th to his 9 month WELL visit (yep you got that, WELL visit, that means I got to sit on the healthy side of the Dr's office AND we got the great news that his ears are continuing to get better so no tubes for now!) Besides his ears we found out that he is almost 17 lbs (16 lbs. 15 oz to be exact) and 28 inches long (that put him in the 45%...that's HUGE for him!) I think this appointment was definitely his favorite since he didn't have to have any shots.
Here are some fun things little E is doing at 9 months:
*He still loves his baby food, but enjoys finger food whenever he can get it! He's starting to have just about everything that we eat now.
*Loves to be outside: walks, park, sitting in the grass trying to eat rocks, he loves it all!
*Lunges for things that he wants - not crawling yet, but he can hold himself on all 4's, he just doesn't feel like actually crawling. I've noticed that with Ethan's personality he will hold out on trying something new until he totally feels like it, then all of a sudden just do it!
*Got his first tooth (bottom left one popped up the day he turned 9 months)
*Loves to try to pull himself up on anything or anyone he can- he can consistenly get to his knees by himself and got to his feet once all by himself. He's definitely working hard on it.
*Waves hello and good-bye
*Smiles, Laughs, Plays, and just brightens every day!
Here are a few pictures of our little 9 month old:

This cabinet in the kitchen has been the recent hit with E. He loves to pull everything out and bang and shake it all. He especially loves the little jar of sprinkles! Shake Shake Shake little boy! This cabinet is the reason I've actually been able to get dinner made with Chris working so late now.
Pancakes & Bananas...one of his favorite breakfasts
Ethan loves to unload his toy basket. I'll just put it down and the next thing I know he's lunging at it ready to pull the toys out one at a time and play with each one.
Oops...Wrong Way!
Kind of a dazed face, but it does show his cute little tummy and the drool factor that's been going on with his teeth coming in. This is after only about 10 mins of having this outfit on. You should see him after an hour.
