Our Seattle Adventure

It's time for my summer catch up!!! I finally got my pictures uploaded from my camera to my computer so here goes...

We started out our Seattle adventure by spending the day with Kyle and Britany in downtown Seattle. We walked all through the marketplace and spent some time watching the "flying fish" at the famous Pike's Place Fish Market. Unfortunately, I didn't get a great picture of the fish flying, but we were front and center and Ethan loved that they were throwing fish.

Bubble Gum Wall...Disgusting, but really cool at the same time! People wrote their name, made designs...all out of chewed bubble gum.

We got some yummy seafood on the Waterfront. This was a fun statue in front of the restaurant and E was loving the birdies.

By the end of our day in Seattle, Ethan was pretty exhausted so here's a great thumb-sucking shot by the Space Needle. We were on a budget so we didn't make the trip to the top of the Needle but it was a fun sight to see from the bottom.

The next day we had some fun filled wedding festivities meeting our new sister-in-law's family then that evening we headed back downtown to take an evening ferry. It was really fun going on the "big boat" and spending time with family. Grandma and Grandpa hooked us up with some yummy hot chocolate for the ride back.

Here is the happy couple coming out of the temple after their sealing! Welcome to the family, Britany!

I'm a horrible mother for posting this picture, but after feeling really sad I could see the humor in the situation. My poor little attached child was so upset about being babysat during the sealing. This is a picture that my neices and nephews took of him while we were in the sealing. Pretty sad, huh?

The aftermath of the sadness continued during family pictures after the sealing. This picture with a banana in Ethan's mouth is by far the BEST family picture we got. You should see the full family shots...Yikes! Sorry to Kyle and Britany for our crying child in those!
On Sunday, after church we spent the afternoon with Jamie & Kristin's family and they took us to this awesome Waterfall! We loved seeing this sight! The falls were as tall as Niagra but not as wide.
I love pictures of Ethan where he's looking at this Daddy. He just has such a cute look of awe and love on his face and I love it!

Need Stroller Advice!!!

So I know you are all probably wishing for a better update and some pictures and both of those things will be coming soon...I promise!

But for now, I really need some advice on DOUBLE STROLLERS!!!

Which one do you have? Like? Hate? etc...

I'm horrible at making decisions so it would be great to have some input on which ones work great! (FYI...strollers over $300 are out of the question.)

THANKS!

Moving...

You didn't misread the title, it's true...we've moved! Not just a little move, a BIG one and one we've had to do very quickly.

The good news is that Chris found a new job and it's going to be a great opportunity for his career and he's looking forward to the experience and extra time he's going to need to get his CPA. It's also great because we're still living near family...just so happens it's the family that's across the country. Yes, it's true...we've moved to Virginia.

We're currently living with Chris's parents until we find a place to live, we're hoping before the baby comes. Chris made the drive across the country this past week and Ethan and I flew here on Saturday. We had a great last couple weeks before moving, which is why I didn't get this posted earlier.

There are no words to express how much we will miss our family, friends, neighbors, and ward in Arizona. It definitely was home and it will take some time before anywhere feels the same as we did there. We made the best friends and had such an amazing support group that was willing to do anything for us. Even my little 2 year old is sad about the move because of the cute little friends that he had at such a young age. It broke my heart today at church when he started listing off the friends he was excited to see at Nursery who wouldn't be there.

I know we will have great new experiences, meet new friends, and learn a lot from this move, but it doesn't change the sadness that I feel about those we left behind. Sorry for the sappy post, but it does help to get my feelings out (seriously Brooke, it can help to show emotion!) :)

Anyways, I have lots of other fun events to post and I'll work on that throughout this week, along with finding a place to live, helping Ethan understand that this is our new home, and unpacking the few boxes that we have to live out of for the next month!
