Chris turned 30 this year and to celebrate we took a fun family trip to Kings Dominion! This amusement park has been a favorite of ours since we were young so Chris and I were just as excited as the boys. It only took them 1 ride to get the hang of it and they were in heaven the rest of the day. Running from ride to ride and super excited to see what other adventures awaited them. We focused on the boys for most of the day but Chris and I got to sneak off to some larger rides here and there. Luckily, it wasn't a super packed day so the lines were manageable and we even hit the water park in the middle to cool off. Sydney even joined in the fun there. She was a dream baby all day, content to hang and watch her brothers having all the fun as long as we kept her cooled off and fed. :) I'm pretty sure she made it the entire day with only a 30 min nap, even Tanner took a longer one than that! Ethan was quite daring riding both roller coasters in the kids area and even enjoyed the bobsled adult roller coaster. He's been asking when we are going back ever since!
We were so excited to have our friends, the Wights, join us for our fun day! We loved having the amazing company, the kids had a blast running around with their friends, we had a good time trying to convince RJ to ride a few big ones he was tall enough for, enjoyed a picnic lunch in the parking lot, and it worked out perfectly to swap for some adult ride time!

We couldn't believe how long the kids lasted. We had intended to stay until around dinner time then head back to Jamie & Kristin's house to stay the night, but the kids were going strong and we still had more park to enjoy so we ended up staying from 30 mins before they opened to closing time and enjoyed an amazing fireworks show on our way out!
