Preschool Graduation

He is so proud of his special graduation day!

He has had such a great year at Heritage Preschool. I've been so happy with the quality of this preschool and Ethan has had so much fun! He absolutely loved his teachers, Ms. Joy & Ms. Lori and made some great friends.

He is looking so forward to his next adventure in "big school."

 After the graduation, we went and celebrated with lunch at none other than Daddy's favorite, Firehouse Subs! The boys love going there with Daddy and it was great to have him come meet us for his lunch break.

Our Sweet Sydney is 1!

 This little 1 year old is so sweet and happy! 

I have been blessed with babies that have such happy, content, and enjoyable personalities and Sydney is no exception. She absolutely loves her brothers and can't get enough of following them around. At 1 year old she is still scooting on her bottom everywhere she goes, and wearing through her pants as she goes. Still no sign of using her knees or legs as she isn't pulling up yet but I'm sure it's to come soon.

She definitely knows how to hold her own with her brothers and is feisty enough to let them know when she wants to play with a toy or doesn't want to get left behind.

She is becoming a Daddy's girl more and more each day and is so excited each and every day when he gets home. I'm pretty sure it makes his day when all the kids come running for him!

 I think the boys are as excited about Sydney's princess books as she is..

It's Party Time!!!

 Our little 1 year old sure knows how to eat! She loves food and I think the only thing I've found that she doesn't like is bananas. She is famous for being slightly demanding at times when it comes to food and she always knows if someone has something to eat that she doesn't. It's like a 6th sense for her.

This year we celebrated her birthday with her best buddy Kyla! They were born just 2 days apart (Syd being older despite the fact that her due date was a whole month after Kyla's!) and absolutely love each other. They are always excited to see each other that even the girls that work at the gym are amazed at their cute friendship. 

This year we coordinated by making giant cupcakes for our little girls! We thought the pictures would be adorable and we were right!

Jam Packed May

 Yard Work Galore

 A landscaped yard definitely has it's downfalls in the form of weeds. Our house was vacant for over a year and in that time our landscaping was able to get completely out of hand. When my Mom came in town for our May birthdays, we tackled the mess in our front yard. 4 huge bags and a box later it was somewhat under control.

Play Time

 Ethan was invited to a friend's birthday and we all enjoyed all the fun and especially the bounce house! Don't worry..we gave the kids a turn. :)

Mother's Day

Ethan's preschool has been fantastic this year! I've been so happy with his teachers and their amazing creativity and organization. For Mother's Day, they had a special Mother's Day Tea where I got to go into his class and enjoy a cute and formal dessert but what I loved was the special time we had together.

Scooting

 At about 11 months my baby finally started moving, crazy as it is that it took her so long she is a happy little scooter now! She sits herself up then off she goes on her bottom. No crawling here, not even any signs of rocking on all 4's, just scooting on her bottom. 

She's a super happy baby all around and is almost always smiling! The only time she gets sad is when she is hungry or gets left behind by her brothers so she is definitely happier to be able to follow her brothers around, as long as they don't escape up or down the stairs.

I just had to add this picture I took of Tanner on the same day...YEP it's true, he's actually asleep on the counter! Impressive huh? I think he gets his narcolepsy from his mom! :)

This was probably taken just moments after he said "No Mom, I'm not tired, No nap!"

Ethan is 5

I can't believe how much fun it is to watch this sweet boy grow up. He brings our family so much joy, laughs, tender moments, and we are especially proud that he is ours! Ethan absolutely loves special occasions and his 5th birthday was no exception. He has a gift of being excited for everything and despite our decision to make big parties an every other year occasion he was thrilled at the concept of just family and 1 friend over on his special day. He enjoyed every moment of his special birthday breakfast with Dad, his lunch date with friends, family coming over for a BBQ, and some very special birthday gifts! 

He is especially into Hot Wheels and as always loves to play games! I'm always impressed that he is equally as excited and appreciative for new clothes and shoes as well.

At 5 years old, it seems that Ethan's desire for knowledge just grows each day. He is constantly asking questions and his mind is like a sponge as he soaks it all in. He can't wait for school this year and is always ready and excited for any new experiences. He is a fantastic big brother always playing and helping Tanner and hardly ever has to be asked twice to help me with anything Sydney needs. He just loves making everyone happy!
