The kids just LOVE playing together! We had such a fun time and even though the boys would usually take off and play together, they love their sister and especially love to make her laugh! I got this video one day when she was especially giggly!
The boys were super lucky and got invited to a good friend's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. They'd never been before and loved being able to play games, eat pizza, and play with friends. Tanner was especially entertained by the endless rides.
At the end of the month, a little chaos came our way! We had a huge wind storm blow through the city and it reeked havoc everywhere. Branches, trees, and unfortunately power lines came down! The majority of the city was out of power for days and we were one of the few lucky ones who remained with power. Because of the heat, we quickly offered our home and became Hotel Malone for a couple days. We had families in and out of the house eating meals, staying the night, and mostly just cooling off. We enjoyed all the company and were glad to be able to help during this time. Our only casualty was a pretty large branch in the front yard down and our garden got blown pretty bad to where it stunted the growth of our squash plants. Luckily we got a good amount before the storm came. We weren't able to say the same for our tomatoes, we got a handful of them then the deer devoured the rest of the plants. Next year, new plan!
