4 Years Old & Loving It!

My Ethan is 4!
He has been looking forward to this day for what feels like a year, as I think all kids do. I love the way kids feel SO much older, bigger, and more responsible on their actual birth date.
This boy is such a great big brother. He loves his little brother and is so excited for the arrival of his new sister.
He can be described as sweet, smart, energized, inquisitive, positive, excited, sensitive & tender-hearted, loving, and very aware of others feelings and surroundings.
At 4 years old, he knows all his letter & sounds, can count to 100 (w/ a little help), can memorize songs better than anyone I know, loves to recall random facts & events, never hesitates to give compliments & express love, and enjoys playing with friends and loves to have something to do ALL day long!
For his birthday this year, he had two requests:
The "frog game" (Froggio) which turned out to be a great game, perfect for kids to play w/o adult help and a BIKE! He was thrilled with his new Diego bike and honestly didn't take the helmet off for the majority of the day. He even fell asleep with it on.
The morning of his birthday, he got to get up early and go to a special birthday breakfast with his Dad before Chris went to work. He loved the one on one time and it really made him feel special. I think this may just become a tradition in our family.

Here are Ethan's "4-year old" Favorites:
Color- Red
Show- Cat in the Hat
Movie- Barney (he loves songs!)
Animal- Tiger
Friend- Tanner & Maddie
Book- Curious George
Thing to Play- Basketball with Dad
Sport- Baseball
Song- "Adam was a Prophet"
