The Natural Bridge

We are so excited to have our cousins close by! We took advantage of the last weekend in July to take a trip up to a close by historic site...Natural Bridge and Caverns. It was such a fun day just being outside all day and exploring. The Bridge was amazing, we learned tons as we ventured into a Monocan Village, and finally reached our destination of a "waterfall" which looked more like little rapids but the fun was in the journey. We had a fun picnic lunch then headed to the Caverns which were amazing. It's been so long since I've been in an underground cavern. So much fun...I love days like this!

Tanner grabbed a little nap in the caverns

George Washington carved his initials into the side of the bridge. We had a fun scavenger hunt searching for this inscription (it's much smaller without a zoom lens.)
The "Waterfall"
The whole Malone gang that made the journey
