This year we celebrated Tanner's birthday with Lightning McQueen (in the words ofTanner..."Queen") This is the first year he's really had understanding of the whole birthday process. He watched in awe as I mixed, baked, then frosted his cake. The look on his eyes as his favorite car friend began to appear before his eyes was priceless.
I loved how much he loved it!
For his birthday this year, we had his best buddies over for a little BBQ and cake. The kids had a blast playing outside, eating, and best of all...enjoying Tanner's brand new Shake 'N Go Track that he got from his Great Grandma! He was lucky to have the whole family here throughout the weekend including my mom who was able to fly in for a few days for the celebration. Birthdays aren't just one day around here. :)
Happy 2nd Birthday Tanner!
New Playhouse from Mom & Dad and Grandparents!
Check out those RED Lightning Crocs?!? Are they awesome or what? Tanner sure thinks so!

Impressive cake, darling baby girl, and your house looks so cute!!
I can't believe he's that old. Don't they know they aren't allowed to grow up like that? The cake turned out really great! Looks like life is good out there!
